fur balls and irving

Can I vent? Just for a little bit?
Dear Tennessee, it is not July yet. I would like to have eased into the knowledge that I will be melting in a puddle of nothing every time I exit the abode. Sincerely, Hali.

Onto more serious matters. Yesterday I quickly realized how inept i am when it comes to video games. My little brother and will beat about six levels of Super Mario in ten minutes. When I played last week, I couldn't get 20 ft on the first level without dying a painful death by munching mushroom. I just don't understand how swiftly one can jump onto dinosaur, to floating clouds, and over seas of lava. But what I did realize yesterday is how absolutely adorable my little brother is. Not that I didn't know this before, when looking past things such as him kicking me in the face. My heart melted a little last night when he smack talked Will while playing basketball by calling him a "fur ball" (smiles)

After family time I rescued a fish, from Petsmart. I rescued a fish who had been sitting on a shelf in a little tupper, next to his dead fish friend for who knows how long. Can you imagine having to stare at your dead friend all day long - on a shelf - at Petsmart. Needless to say he quickly became a part of my family. I bought him some plastic pink leaves for his bowl. He is strong in his masculinity (with a name live Irving how could you not be?). I am really excited for the adventures ahead with my new companion. Even if he can't leave his 12in by 5 in bowl.
