This morning I headed into work with 3 and a half hours of sleep under my belt. I got to work with my roommate, which meant catching up time. We started to fill each other in on the workings in our lives over the last two days, when I quickly realized that the handy man fixing the drains at our store was getting the inside scoop to our lives. Or gooshy and lack of gooshiness lives. I vocally proclaimed that I felt awkward talking in front of him, and he declared, "Well now I have to hear the rest of the story!" AHA, fulfilling people's lives every day.... it's my job.
Kay and I spent the rest of the afternoon together at Goodwill. I have never had a dull experience at Goodwill. I am actually wondering if it is possible? I found a few treasures to take home with me, and a few treasures (a classic little pink piggy bank) to leave behind (which I am regretting now). We also stopped at Lifeway and sifted through the hundreds of Bibles until I found my new Baby. (smiles) It is being broken in, while it breaks me.
SEGUAY.
The Holy Spirit was heavily weighing down on us tonight. I haven't been drenched in the Spirit like that in a long time. The warm weight that starts seeping over you from head to foot. The warm firm embrace, that is somehow soft to the touch. OH HOLY MOLY. People were dancing in the Spirit, standing still in the Spirit, shouting in the Spirit, and even twitching in the Spirit. There is such a peace being in a room full of God's children all receiving His love and adoration.
