okay, digging something up:
last night i was out with a friend and he and i were talking about people and how they are drawn to certain characteristics in the opposite sex. when he asked what i was drawn to, or if i had certain things i wouldn't cave on, i really couldn't think of anything. i started looking back on the guys i have been interested in and every one is ridiculously different.
BOY1 - brown hair blue eyes
BOY2 - blonde hair blue eyes
BOY3 - brown hair green eyes
BOY4 - brown hair brown eyes
but everything that was equal, was that they could make me laugh, they could make me smile, the loved the Lord, and they made me confident in myself. and they were all taller than me. i guess i am a stickler on that one. i am pretty tall for a girl, which doesn't help either.
my friend was telling me that his sister's future man has to have brown hair and brown eyes. thats it. done deal. i suggested a friend of mine for his sister, but he has green eyes. so i thought about getting him brown contacts, and if they fell in love the eye color wouldn't even matter anymore. but my friend quickly said that she wouldn't have him anymore if the contacts came out haha! to each his own, at least she knows what she wants and she is not settling! that's better than a lot of girls.
i have another friend who has to have dark, italian-ish, swarthy, strong jaw line, manly-man. no exceptions.... trust me, i've tried to sneak in a couple exceptions. they went down like some wounded birds on duck hunter.
it's really interesting for me to see what people like and don't like. what they are drawn to and repulsed by. i want to start finding out more about the character of the people my friends have dated or been interested in. have they been the book worms? the athletes? the people who say random crazy stuff out of nowhere? there's definitely more than just looks, and that is where the substance lies.
okay i thought of something to write about! yes! so now, instead of digging through the thirty bags of all the clothes i own, that are in my car, i am just gonna go to target and buy a new outfit for work aha. easy way out.
