Impressions.

My first impression of Atlanta is, "holy heck there are so many trees!" It amazes me how states completely vary in their agriculture. When driving here, I feel as if we are in little tunnels, surrounded by green. Maybe, as if we are ants, milling through tall grass.

My second impression of Atlanta is that it consists of the generic "southern charm" often seen in movies. The houses have huge deck porches, and beautiful lawns. I can easily envision little old ladies on the front steps drinking ice tea whilst wearing monstrous floppy hats. Also, speaking of the elderly, yesterday when my mother and I were walking around little Marietta, GA an old man came up to me and said, "you know, when girls wear short skirts it reminds me of the prohibition..." Yeah, that perplexed look on your face right now, that was the response he got from me.

My third impression of Atlanta is that its knack for antiques is superb! Today we headed to Little Five Points where I embarked on a journey through Junkman's Daughter, Psycho Sister, and Clothing Warehouse. It was love at first vintage shirt I touched. Praise the Lord I did not cash my check before coming on this trip, or bills would not be paid this month. I did invest in two old/new items for myself, and one for a friend, BUT for the most part I practiced quite a bit of self control (honestly, due to my mother telling me "it's not worth it, Hali." or "don't you have something that looks just like that?"

My fourth impression is about to take place in thirty minutes when we partake in our hotel's happy hour. Which allows each of us to have three FREE drinks each. ( #*$YO#I&$IUhl*! )

Tomorrow is the moment of truth, the big kahuna, the biggest fish (impression) in the sea - SIX FLAGS! Can I just say that, the fact that I get to go to two huge amusement parks in one month is seriously a blessing. Yes, a work of God. I am a little worried that I will be comparing every single ride and moment spent in Six Flags to Cedar Point, but... nonetheless, I will be on roller coasters, and that my dear friends, is second in beauty to heaven.
