Just do it.

This summer I made a promise to myself. A promise to not sit around the house, the city, and be lazy. To not stick to my weekly routines. To not walk in circles. This summer I was going to be adventurous. I was going to go places I have never gone before. I was going to let my feet make decisions before my mind did... and I am proud to say that I have been sticking to this promise! Ever since my trip to L.A. I have been busy every weekend. Taking full advantage of the time off work, and connections I have. I've traveled to NOLA, I've going hiking in the Smokey Mountains. I've trekked to two waterfalls in two different cities, out in the middle of nowhere. I am going sky diving on Saturday for the second time. Another trip to Michigan, and the Smokey Mountains will be taking place within the next 4 weeks. And the big ol' whopper... I am purchasing a ticket to Israel! I won't be going until next year, right before I move to Portland, but I will be making that commitment in the next month. I've always talked about how I have wanted to visit my family in Tel Aviv, and how amazing it would be to see the Bible in real life. Suddenly I got fed up with talking the talk, and started saving up to make that dream a reality! Moving to Portland is a huge leap for me, especially not personally knowing anyone there, and having never visited before. Once I am out there, it will also become more challenging to visit the East coast, and all of my family and friends. So this is the time, to embrace the opportunities I have been blessed with here. To jump into the deep end, with a huge smile on my face! The last thing I want, is to get to the end of my life, and wish I had done more... especially since my husband will be Jimmy Fallon, who has experienced so much already.
